Data Deletion

You can ask Effess to delete the personal data associated with your account at any time. This page explains how, in line with Meta's Platform Terms and applicable data-protection laws.
1. Delete from your account
If you have an account at v1.effess.in, you can request deletion from within the app (Workspace → Settings → Delete account) or by disconnecting your WhatsApp channel, which removes its stored credentials and conversation data.
2. Request by email
Alternatively, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request". Please include your account email and, if applicable, the WhatsApp Business phone number so we can verify and locate your data.
3. What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, hashed password, business details);
- Connected WhatsApp Business credentials and channel configuration;
- Stored conversations, contacts and message logs we hold for you;
- Associated usage and audit records, except where we are required to retain limited data by law.
4. Timeline
We will verify your request and complete deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email. Backups are purged on their normal rotation. Data already transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform is governed by Meta's own retention and deletion policies.
